I love their chicken soup & corn tortillas . The atmosphere is laid back and casual.
Not gluten free like was told over the phone and rude server who didn't care that one of the people in our party had celiac disease which means you're allergic to gluten very rude and food looked ehhh won't be back at all . Sure, you can brand this Tex-Mex, but that doesn't narrow it down by much in the Mexican food paradise called Texas.The food is always hot and fresh. Chorizo, Chicken … I love a great plate of Mexican food! Chicken chimichangas are so flavorful. The place os very nice and very clean. We ordered the Arroz con Pollo and Chili Relleno along with their fresh made guacamole. We have also added $2 Pupusas to their menu.
Learn more. Palenque is a whole vibe. They tend to make things mild for the masses, so if you like heat, ask for it or hot sauce.

The salsa is decent. The hub and I ordered the 3 combo meals so we could try 6 different dishes.

The first time I went there I was greeted by a nice young lady who gave me an extra biscuit. You want good service and great atmosphere that's not 85 degrees inside I recommend camino Real Berryville Virginia. I am a self proclaimed Mexican food fanatic!
