You can always try verifying the game install (if you didn't already) with Uplay or Steam depending on where you bought the game, and make sure that your GPU drivers are up to date. Make sure that there isn't any sounddata folder in your install folder "H:\Games III\Steep". If someone know how can we fixe this problem, tell us please. It had blocked a file and moved it to quarantine.

Whether I try to launch the game from Steam or Uplay, the game doesn't launch. A subreddit for discussion of everything about the game Steep, the open world mountain sports game from Ubisoft Annecy. Yeah I agree that's what was irritating me. Hi, you can download little utilities(such as Link Shell Extension) that adds the ability to create symlinks directly from the context menu in windows explorer. That is, the game won't start or will crash when starting up if you have it installed on a drive which is not managed by "Windows Storage Spaces". First it was buttons changing and not working correctly, then it was flipping my thumbsticks, until finally I couldn't use the controller at all. I tried reinstalling Uplay, verifiying intergrity of cache on steam, using CCcleaner,restarting my PC, running it as admin through program files and it still won't work. this does nothing for me still just stuck on the small splash screen.

My anti-virus is F-Secure and even when disabled specifically the anti-virus and deep guard it doesn't seem to be the issue, I am currently re-installing the game not sure if the pre-loading on steam could've missed some files or something.
